Alinea Orthodontics is a design-forward, boutique orthodontic studio in Santa Monica led by board-certified orthodontist Dr. Jose Enrique Ortiz. ABOUT THE ROLE
This is a front-of-house role at the heart of everything we do. You’ll be the first voice patients hear and the last face they see — and everything in between matters.
Your day will include:
- Welcoming patients and creating a warm, calm front-desk experience
- Checking patients in and out with care and efficiency
- Answering phones, scheduling appointments, managing confirmations, patient communications
- Preparing and reviewing the patient schedule ahead of time and checking patient records are complete
- Supporting treatment coordination and financial conversations at checkout
- Verifying insurance and managing patient records in GreyFinch and OrthoFi
- Helping capture social media content and supporting community engagement
- Keeping the space clean, stocked, and inviting at all times
Over time, you’ll cross-train in Treatment Coordinator duties — a meaningful growth opportunity for the right person.
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
- 1+ year of dental or orthodontic front desk experience — required
- Warm, polished, and genuinely people-first in your approach
- Confident on the phone and in person — calm under pressure
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
- Comfortable with dental practice management software (GreyFinch a plus)
- Dental assistant experience a plus
- Bilingual English/Spanish a plus, not required
